34.7. INT: Source Radiant Intensity

If the user configures any man-made sources in the section (see the chapter on scene construction earlier in this guide) of the CFG file, then a spectral radiant intensity file must have been specified (using the INTENSITY_FILENAME variable) for each source. The spectral radiance intensity file contains a list of wavelength and radiant intensity pairs. The units are [microns] and [W/sr] respectively. There are no assumptions about the extents or spectral resolution of the radiant intensity curve. This curve will be interpolated to the internal resolution specified by the user's sensor bandpasses during the initialization phase. In spectral regions where data is not provided by the curve, a radiant intensity value of 0 is assumed. The following example of a spectral radiant intensity file illustrates the data in the file 2647K.int included on the distribution CDROM.
