34.3. EXT: Spectral Extinction Database

An extinction database file (EXT) contains the spectral extinction curve for a given material. In the future, multiple extinction curves will be in the file, but at this point only one curve is assumed. The wavelength/extinction pairs can be at arbitrary spectral locations as long as they are in increasing wavelength.

1 The number of curves in the file (must be 1)
