The "whisk" mount allows the user to scan attached instruments in the across-track direction of the platform, which corresponds to rotation about the Y axis (assuming the mount to platform attachment didn’t introduce a rotation). The user provides a clock description and the start and stop angles for the scan. The scan is sinusoidal with time, reaching a peak angular velocity at the midpoint between the start and stop angles.

This demo uses a platform that is fixed in space and performs a symmetric scan (centered about the scan angle 0).
