Description Scott D. Brown 2016-11-17 14:29:53 EST
The default insert orientation in DIRSIG is that an object is "pointed in the +Y" axis. For a lot of static objects (a tree, etc.) this doesn't matter, but for something like a car, plane, etc. there is an assumption in the motion models that the "front" of the moving object is pointed down the +Y axis. However, when you click the "front" button in the Bulldozer view selector, you end up looking at the "left" side of the object. And the other views are likewise inconsistent.

The request is that when you click the "front" button that Bulldozer shows you the side facing the +Y axis, and that the "right" button shows you the side facing the +X axis, etc.
